Branded uniform items are optional.
The Friends of Dishforth have a stock of good quality second hand uniform that is available to buy for minimal cost. This is located in the uniform shed at the front of school.

Our Uniform
We encourage all of our children to wear our uniform which is:
- Charcoal grey trousers, skirt or shorts
- White polo shirt
- Burgundy sweatshirt or cardigan
- Grey socks/tights or white socks
- Black shoes
- In the Summer term a red and white check dress can be worn
During the school year 2025/26 we are changing from branded yellow polo shirts to white.
During this year children are welcome to wear either colour polo shirt.
For indoor PE, all children require:
Black shorts
Plain white PE t-shirt
Black elasticated pumps / trainers
These should all be kept in a small drawstring PE bag at school from Monday to Friday each
week.
For outdoor games and after school clubs, children will also need;
• Trainers
• Plain black Tracksuit/Joggers (for colder weather)
In accordance with health and safety advice, children must not wear jewellery in
school. Plain stud earrings may be worn in pierced ears, but must be removed for all
PE activities including Forest Schools.
Please ensure all clothing is clearly labelled with your child’s name.
