At Dishforth CE Primary School Sport Premium is used to provide excellent PE and sports opportunities for all children in school.
The Sports Premium continued to be used to employ specialist Sports coaches form a local provider Sporting Influence.
All pupils benefit from specialised PE coaching whilst teachers and teaching assistants gain valuable CPD by team-teaching and observing PE Lessons.
Sporting Influence also run an after-school sports club each week in school and provide a number of opportunties to compete against other schools in local school sports competitions and also a calendar of festivals.
The funding also covers the cost of a specialist dance coach for the spring term who assists with choreography for spring and summer productions.
