This week Class 3 have been on a trip to Boroughbridge High School for a Maths workshop. They had a fantastic time and we’re delighted that they have the opportunity to go to a secondary school and have a taster of what their next steps might look like. Many classes this week have been completing their end of term assessments and it is always fantastic to see how much time, care and effort everyone puts into showing off their learning. We are very proud of all the progress the children have made this term – the longest one of the school year. This afternoon we were delighted to welcome the Yorkshire Grinch into school, to meet the children and hand out Christmas presents. The children really enjoyed his visit and hearing his Christmas messages of making sure that everyone is included and the importance of spending time with family. A huge thank you must go to the Friends of Dishforth who were keen for the children to have a memorable Christmas treat and whose fundraising made this possible.
