Headteacher’s Message
It seems hard to believe that this half term is over already. We’ve packed such a lot into a short time and
really enjoyed and made the most of all the sunshine. I just wanted to take the opportunity to update you
on our Tiddlers group that runs every Tuesday afternoon from 2-3pm in our spare classroom the ‘Goldfish
Bowl’. It has been incredibly successful with lots of parents and carers, babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers
coming and enjoying playing and making new friends. If you know of someone, or have a young child
yourself, that is not yet in school and would like to come along, please feel free to drop in. You don’t have
to come every week, just come when you can. Mrs Hainsworth is always delighted to welcome new faces
and it’s a lovely chance to get used to being in school.
This week Class 2 went on a fantastic trip to Queen Ethelburga’s School for an Art day. Their behaviour
was absolutely excellent and Mr Duffy and Mrs Chester were incredibly proud of them, they were real
ambassadors for our school. Well done children! That just leaves me to wish you all a very happy half
term. We look forward to seeing you all back in school on Monday 2nd June for our busy last half term of
the school year.
