Thank you to everyone that was able to attend our Easter assembly at the village hall this afternoon. It was lovely to welcome you and share Class 2’s excellent acting skills. I am so proud of all the children that took part and I am sure that you will agree it was a fitting end to a busy term. A big thank should also go to our wonderful year 6s who worked this afternoon as assistants helping the younger children walk safely to the village hall and supporting them with their singing. It is always lovely to see how responsible and helpful they are and what positive role models they can be.
Today we said a staff goodbye to Bernadette Ward, who as many of you know has been running our school office so efficiently over the last term. Our school owes her a huge debt of gratitude, stepping in as she did to fill the void while we recruited. I know that you will join with me in wishing her well for the future, but don’t be surprised if you see her again occasionally, she enjoyed her time with us so much we will struggle to keep her away. Enjoy your cruise Berna! All that remains is to wish you all a very Happy Easter holidays and to remind you that we return to school on Tuesday 22nd April.
