Our Core Christian Values
As a Church of England School, Core Christian Values underpin all that we do. Through Collective Worship, we explore the Christian Values, reflect on how they are exemplified in Bible stories and discuss ways in which the core values can be lived out in school.
This year, in addition to focussing on a different Christian Value each half-term, we have worked with all stakeholders to agree on our school Core Christian Values. Following discussions with staff, governors, parents and children it was decided that our Core Christian Values should be:
It was a tricky decision and needed lots of discussion!
This Powerpoint shows the Christian Values originally chosen by each class and the governors though after the meeting, the class reps went back to their classes for further discussions!
In the second half of the summer term, our Collective Worship will focus on the school Core Christian Values of respect, trust, compassion and perseverance.
