Our topic this term is Yorkshire – Now and Then. We will develop history skills by looking at Vikings and Anglo-Saxons in England – with a focus on Yorkshire. We will develop geography skills by examining geographical similarities and differences within the region of Yorkshire.
After completing our sewing, art and design and DT will also be linked to our topic. We will sculpt clay into Viking style jewellery and make model longboats.
In science, we begin by investigating light. We will then find out more about living things and their habits.
Further details of what we are doing are available in our latest curriculum newsletter.

This term will be developing our Easter 2019 production.
Last year, we enjoyed putting on our Easter production of Wilbur's Web, based on Charlotte's Web by E.B. White.
