Updates from Bewerley
Friday 17th June
1:37pm coach has just left Bewerley Park to return to school - due back by about 2:30 😊
A busy morning packing, tidying and vacuuming! (Surprising how expert at using a vacuum cleaner some children become by the end of a week's residential!)
Do keep a check on this page or Facebook this afternoon as I will update as soon I get a message in school to say the coach is on its way back.
it usually leaves Bewerley between 1:30 and 2:00 after the group debrief.
Thursday 16th June 4:30pm
As promised earlier, a few photos which were taken last night whilst we were in the woods and when we returned to the centre. As you can see, the children are well and keeping busy! Today has included lots of climbing (and challenges) on the high ropes and another opportunity to get wet on the ghyll walk. There was lots of discussion last night about who was planning to jump off the ledge into the water below at the end of the walk. I'll let you know if I get any updates on that later this evening. Hopefully, everyone will manage to keep both wellies securely on their feet!
Thursday 16th June 6:43am
Good Morning from Bewerley Park
Children all still sleeping. They are looking well and say hi to everyone at home. They had a good day yesterday canoeing and shelter building. Last night, we had a lovely walk to the woods.
I will be setting off back to school shortly. Keep a check on the website today, as I will be uploading some photos I took last night. (Very poor signal so can't do anything yet)
Boys are all awake now. Time to wake the girls...
Wednesday 15th June
Boys and girls all asleep by about 11pm last night and took longer to wake this morning. Shelter building and canoeing today.
Tuesday 14th June 19:15
Children back at the centre after an exciting and exhausting day at Brimham rocks. Much climbing, scrambling and sliding (and avoiding the midges!)
All well this morning. Children are up,ready for breakfast and looking forward to a walk to Brimham Rocks.
